The Course Identification Number (C-ID) System held several discipline input group (DIG) meetings this past April, where faculty from Water and Wastewater Technology drafted seven descriptors for courses identified as part of a potential certificate for the discipline. In addition, the faculty present at the meetings believed that the seven draft descriptors could be used for courses that would qualify students to take up to 12 industry-recognized certifications.
Faculty input is a crucial step towards finalizing C-ID descriptors. Water and Wastewater Technology faculty are encouraged to provide feedback by logging on to the C-ID website.
