FIND IT. BE IT. CAREER EDUCATION

About the Campaign

The CVML contracted with Full Capacity Marketing (FCM) to create and deploy a regional campaign, Find It. Be It., to increase student enrollments in career education for the CVML member colleges and to engage employers to expand opportunities in work-based learning and job placements. This online marketing toolkit introduces you to the region’s talented interns who competed for a three-month internship to work hand-and-hand with FCM in producing this dynamic campaign.

Meet the FCM Interns

Ready for the World of Work

Students currently or previously enrolled in graphic arts, videography or project management in the Central Valley Mother Lode region submitted applications to FCM and underwent an interview with executive team members to compete for 9 paid internship slots. Out of a highly competitive field, the 9 demonstrated a strong work ethic and desire to learn in building their portfolios to advance their careers. Three teams of interns collaborated across their areas of specialty to support FCM in the design and development of student and employer videos, various marketing toolkits and advertising to create a multi-media campaign to spread the word about career education. Our success will help bring in prospective students seeking the tools and knowledge that will lead to quality employment with a future. Working with secondary school parents, community colleges and prospective employers, we can help students find their niche. How cool is that? Since I have so many years in manufacturing both as an engineer and manager, I would like to apply my schooling with the “right” company locally and then transition to teaching industrial automation at Bakersfield College.

Work hand and hand with the best of the best. Bring something new and fresh to the industry. Bring all my ideas to life.

As the post-secondary marketing environment has become increasingly crowded, executing an effective enrollment campaign requires using multiple touchpoints at every stage of the “sales funnel” – from brand awareness through enrollment. The CVML marketing plan incorporates a minimum of the consumer marketing standard three to five touches to increase brand awareness at the regional level, followed by multiple strategies that can be implemented at the college level to garner interest from both the supply side (students) and the demand side (employers).

CAMPAIGN VIDEOS
