We’re pleased to share Issue #10 of CVML Connect. This May edition reflects a season of both celebration and forward momentum, as colleges across the region mark commencement while continuing to strengthen alignment between education and workforce systems to support student success and regional economic needs.

This issue features fiscal updates across Strong Workforce Program Rounds 8, 9, and 10, including budget progress, upcoming NOVA revisions, and strategic planning opportunities for unallocated funds. We also highlight key policy updates such as the extended TOP-to-CIP implementation timeline, along with continued apprenticeship momentum through regional meetings, statewide initiatives, and new federal guidance aimed at strengthening program development and transparency.

Regional collaboration remains central, with highlights including dual enrollment growth across the Northern San Joaquin Valley, recognition of exemplary programs, and the release of statewide research on college return on investment. Additional updates include upcoming events, funding opportunities, and continued regional planning efforts that support alignment across K-12, colleges, and industry partners.
