This year, all MCEC and CCAP grant applications will be submitted through the online platform called Program Grant Management System Next Generation (PGMS NextGen). For security purposes, PGMS NextGen requires a Centralized Authentication System (CAS) account.
Please Note: PGMS NextGen is a new website, separate from the PGMS legacy platform many Grantees may use for other grant programs such as Perkins, CTEIG, and CPAs.
To apply for either the CCAP grant, MCEC grant, or both, please complete the following steps:
- If you do not already have a CAS account, create one on the CAS Registration Page
- Complete the CAS Username and Grantee Information Survey (please complete the form once for each unique CDS code for which you will be applying)
Once you complete the CAS username and grantee information survey, we will add the primary contact to PGMS NextGen and send follow-up instructions on how to complete the grant application(s).
All applications must be submitted to the CDE, through PGMS NextGen, on or before October 30, 2026, by 4:00 p.m. Please ensure that the CAS Username and Grantee information Survey is submitted as soon as possible to allow adequate time for the application process.
