We’re pleased to share Issue #7 of CVML Connect, welcoming partners to the Spring 2026 semester and celebrating CTE Month across the CVML region. This February edition highlights outcomes from CVML’s first biannual planning retreat, regional CTE Month events, and ongoing collaboration to strengthen career pathways aligned with workforce needs. Featured updates include apprenticeship and workforce development activities such as the Future Ready Healthcare: Licensure-Aligned Apprenticeship Event on March 12, statewide and regional Strong Workforce fiscal updates, and upcoming convenings supporting apprenticeship creation and expansion. Around the region, Merced College is recognized as a national finalist for the 2026 Bellwether Awards, Bakersfield College students showcase industrial automation capstone projects, the ARCH High School Apprenticeship Program launches its new cohort, and a new Valley Build MC3 construction training cohort begins in Tulare County. The issue also includes key dates, funding opportunities, and ways to stay engaged as CVML continues building the workforce through partnership and career education.
