We’re pleased to share Issue #9 of CVML Connect. This April edition highlights continued regional progress in strengthening Career Technical Education and workforce alignment, as colleges, K-12 partners, and industry stakeholders advance coordinated efforts to support student success and career pathways.
This issue features updates on Strong Workforce fiscal progress across SWP Rounds 8, 9, and 10, including key reporting timelines and available resources, as well as funding opportunities supporting Program Pathways Mapper implementation. We also highlight apprenticeship momentum through regional and statewide efforts, including National Apprenticeship Week sessions and ongoing collaboration to expand registered apprenticeship programs.
Regional engagement remains strong, with events such as the Future Ready Healthcare Apprenticeship event and the 40th Annual Occupational Olympics & Career Expo demonstrating the impact of employer–education partnerships. Additional updates include upcoming spring events, advocacy efforts to restore Strong Workforce funding, and key opportunities for regional collaboration and planning.
