Proposed Expenditures
1) Curriculum Development to include a Food Safety Certificate and a Meats Science course (including realignment of the sequence of courses so that the new courses are part of the AS degree.) 2) Invest in animal processing facilities to ensure student safety and best animal handling practices 3) Professional Development for our faculty to include training for HAACCP certification and other industry recognized training. Costs: $120,000.
